Function
The main purpose of the role is to support the Commercial Team with the successful completion of all administration duties in relation to account management.
Role and Responsibilities
Account Management Administration
• Follow up on quotations completed by the Sales Engineers.
• Log and track RFQs as requested by Sales Engineers.
• Update a sales pipeline using the CRM system if requested.
• Provide data if requested for sales reports.
• Update CRM system with information provided by the Sales Engineers after customer calls.
Customer Relationship Administration
• Listen and respond to customers needs and concerns and handle complaints as they arise.
• Processing of customer orders and raising of internal sales orders on the MRP system creating demand.
• Answering incoming calls regarding orders, billing issues, product problems, service questions and general client concerns.
• Preparation of orders for the contract review process and following up to ensure timely completion of process.
• Day to day liaison with customer regarding outstanding issues and order progress.
• Management of updating customer online portals.
• Internal liaison with commercial team, finance, operations, and engineering.
• Manage orders and maintain customer schedule adherence.
• Managing customer satisfaction survey and reporting findings to Commercial Engineer and Commercial Manager.
Desirable
- Experience of working in a customer facing role
- Experience of working within manufacturing
