Part Marker

Join our growth here at Ford Aerospace!  We are seeking a Part Marker based at our facility in South Shields, Tyne and Wear.

The role is permanent, full time, 37.5 hours per week over a 4-day week, 07:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday to Wednesday; 07:00 to 16:30 Thursday, and paying £9.50 per hour depending on skills, experience, and relevant qualifications.

We are approved and certified for, AS 9100 and are approved Tier 1 and 2 suppliers to Aerospace and Defence manufacturers in the UK and internationally, such as Leonardo, Airbus, BAE, Rolls Royce and Safran.

THE ROLE

• Operate a part marking machine (Training Provided for a suitable applicant).
• Carry out Hardness Testing.
• Purposely identify parts in line with customer requirements.
• Reporting to the Senior Inspector for daily objectives.
• Uphold processes that assure effective Health, Safety, and Environmental best practices as defined by the Ford Aerospace HSE Management System.

• Worked in a manufacturing environment.
• Key Focus on Quality and continuous improvement.

OVERTIME RATES

• Overtime is occasionally available at premium rates of pay.
