Function
To support the verification and positive identification of product in line with the requirements of the quality management system and customer requirements.
Role and Responsibilities
• Part marking of components (full training provided).
• Hardness testing of components (full training provided).
• Peel testing of laminate material (full training provided).
• Reading engineering drawings and job information to determine correct part marking information.
• Executing individual workload to achieve daily work-to-list tasks.
• Ensuring Right First Time, to prevent scrap/rework.
• Daily equipment checks/calibration and recording of data.
• Participation in continuous improvement programs.
• Ensuring all equipment used is in good working condition.
• Ensuring housekeeping within the area is maintained to the highest standards.
This role regularly requires long periods of sitting and standing and use of hands to operate electronic equipment. Work may also occasionally involve lifting of materials and products.
Desirable
• Understanding of ISO9001 / AS9100 processes
• Understanding of health and safety procedures
• Experience in similar industries
